Itinerary (Overview)

Day 1: Pick up : (10:00 AM)

Our dedicated chauffeur will pick you up from Delhi and will take you to Agra via Yamuna Expressway.

Day 1: CHECK INN : (01:30 PM)

Check in to your Hotel at 1:30 pm and get ready for the amazing sightseeing.

Day 1: LUNCH : (02:30 PM)

After a long Drive to Agra, your stomach might be empty, you will be taken to our recommended Agra one of the best multi-cousin restaurants for lunch.

Day 1: AGRA FORT : (04:00 PM)

After lunch, you will be headed to Agra fort. Agra Fort was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as the capital of his empire. It also served as the residence of the royal family. Post-independence, the fort was transformed into a royal museum. You may find innumerable belongings of the erstwhile empire, including their costumes, jewelry, and armory.

Day 1: LIGHT AND SOUND SHOW : (07:00 PM)

Within the Fort are a number of exquisite buildings, including Moti Masjid, Diwn-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, and Musamman Burj, where Emperor Shah Jahan died in imprisonment. Jahangir’s Palace, Khaas Mahal, and Sheesh Mahal are the other important monuments inside the Fort. UP Tourism has started a new sound and light show which provides an insight into the history of the monument, which is a visual delight.

Day 1: MOHABBAT-E-Taj SHOW AGRA : (07:00 PM)

A live show is an effort to hold up the cultural and historical heritage of India. The show presents the splendid lifestyle of the Mughal dynasty and the most attractive part of the show is the replica of the Taj Mahal which is shown at the end of the show.

The replica of the Taj Mahal in the Mohabbat-e-Taj show has a weight of 800 kilograms and it took seven years of hard work from 28 artisans and craftsmen. The show, having a duration of 90 minutes, is presented by 60 talented performers.

The show includes songs, dances, and poetries representing the lifestyle of the Mughal era. The show is organized in Hindi and English with headphones attached to seats. In case you have difficulty with the language, you have options of translation into 9 different languages like French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, etc.

Day 1: DROP BACK TO HOTEL/ DINNER AT LOCAL RESTAURANT : (08:00 PM)

Our chauffeur will take you to a local restaurant for dinner or you can have dinner at your Hotel.

Day 2 : TAJ MAHAL : (06:00 AM)

Our chauffeur will pick you up and will take you to the Taj Mahal for a magnificent sunrise view of the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a beautiful monument located on the banks of River Yamuna. The monument was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal who died while giving birth to their 14th child. It is believed that more than 25,000 people worked for 22 years to build this monument. It is built with white marble bought from Makrana, a town in Rajasthan.

The Taj Mahal comprises a center tomb with four minarets on each side. The graves of Shah Jahan and Mumtaj Mahal are located at the center of the tomb. Due to its beautiful architecture, the monument is listed among the Seven Wonders of the World, and to celebrate the love of the Emperor and his wife, the monument is also called the Symbol of love

Day 2: BREAKFAST : (08:30 AM)

Check out from your hotel and continue your sightseeing in Agra.

Day 2 : ITMAD-UD-DAULA / MEHTAB BAGH : (12:00 PM)

Itmad-ud-daula is commonly known as baby taj whereas Mehtab bagh is a Garden right opposite to Taj Mahal where you can walk and take amazing pictures in green with the Taj Mahal behind you.

Day 2: LUNCH : (02:30 PM)

After Itmad-Ud-Daula, enjoy your last lunch in the city of taj for the trip.

Day 2: SHOPPING : (03:45 PM)

If time permits, you can wander in the streets of Agra to collect some souvenirs. Agra is globally famous for Inlayed Marble, leather-ware, brass-ware, carpets, jewelry, and embroidery work

Day 2: BACK TO DELHI

Get back into the car to drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, your driver will transfer you to your hotel or Indira Gandhi International Airport, the 1 Night & 2 Days Trip ends here.
