Day 1 : Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb: (10:30 AM)
Known as the Baby Taj, a replica of the Taj Mahal is the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula, which is famous for its historical value and grandeur. You will also be fascinated by the amazing architecture of this monument.
We will have lunch at the Bon Barbecue Restaurant. Enjoy delicious Mughalai cuisine at the buffet lunch before you restart the journey.
Agra Fort is often called the sister monument of the Taj Mahal and is a huge fortress that is 2.5 km away from its popular rival. The fort was built by the ruler Akbar as a royal residence and the capital of the empire.
The Agra Fort is a massive structure built with red sandstone. Sometimes the fortress is called the red fortress of Agra. Later, the fortress has been converted into a museum of the erstwhile empire.
