Itinerary (Overview)

Day 1: Arrival and Sightseeing in Delhi

In the morning, your driver and pre-assigned tour guide will meet you at Indira Gandhi International Airport and will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. After a brief rest, ride into your car and start exploring the attractions in Delhi.

Day 1 : Humayun’s Tomb

The journey begins at Humayun’s Tomb, a beautiful monument in Old Delhi. The monument is dedicated to the second Mughal Emperor Humayun. From here we will go to India Gate, a beautiful monument built in honor of the Indian Army. Pay homage to the martyrs and spend some time in the garden near the India Gate.

Day 1: Rashtrapati Bhavan:

Our next destination is the residence of the President of India. It is beautiful, spacious, and the biggest presidential palace in the world.

Day 1 : Jama Masjid: (optional)

It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The sound and light show at Red Fort is a must-watch for foreign tourists in order to get a wide knowledge of Indian history, tradition, and culture. This is the end of the day. Your driver will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 1: Red Fort

It was constructed by the fifth Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It has great significance both politically and historically in India. This is the end of the day. Your driver will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Agra Sightseeing:

Start your Agra sightseeing from The Taj Mahal, a beautiful monument located at the banks of River Yamuna. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world.

Day 2: Agra Fort :

Later we will enjoy a delicious lunch at an air-conditioned hotel or restaurant. After lunch, we will drive to Agra Fort, a beautiful fort built by the Mughal emperor Akbar. The fort showcases the treasury of the erstwhile empire.

Day 2 : Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula:

Itmad-Ud-Daula is our next destination. A draft of the Taj Mahal, well known as the Baby Taj. Then visit the Sanskriti museum to explore the beautiful jewelry and Art inspired by Mughal Period. You can also buy this art and jewelry here. That marks the end of the second day. Our driver will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: From Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri :

Enjoy a healthy breakfast and then check out from the hotel. From here, we will drive towards Jaipur. En-route visits the ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri, built during the Mughal Empire. The town had remained the capital of the Mughal Empire till a severe drought hit the town, forcing the residents to depart. The remains of the monuments can be still found in the town. Continue Driving towards Jaipur and check in to your hotel upon arrival. After a brief rest, we start our Jaipur sightseeing tour.

Day 3: City Palace :

Visit the City Palace, the Royal museum, and the residence of the royal family of Jaipur. The museum showcases the armory and costumes belonging to the royal family.

Day 3 : Jantar Mantar :

Next, visit Jantar Mantar. It is a solar observatory used to calculate the position of the stars. Jantar Mantar has dozens of astronomical tools, and the sundial is the largest in the world.

Day 3: Hawa Mahal :

Hawa Mahal is also a popular attraction. It is a crown-shaped monument with hundreds of windows allowing the cool breeze to pass through the monument. It was built by the Rajput rulers for their queens for a summer retreat. Afterward, we will enter a local restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Rajasthan cuisine. Continue your trip after lunch.

Day 3: Local Market

Next, we will explore the local markets in Jaipur. Jaipur is famous for jewelry, handicrafts, and fabrics. Explore the best handmade items and buy souvenirs. Return to the hotel for the night stay.

Day 4: Departure to Delhi:

Check out from the hotel and depart for Delhi on the last day of the 3 Nights and 4 Days tour of the Golden Triangle. On the way back to Delhi visit Amber fort, the hilltop fort built by Rajput rulers. Take an elephant ride to reach the fort. There are many temples, a museum, and other attractions inside the fort. We will continue driving toward Delhi and we will have lunch at the restaurant en route. After reaching Delhi, your driver will transfer you to Indira Gandhi International Airport or to your desired destination in Delhi.
