AGRA
Tourism in its broadest generic sense can do more to develop understanding among the people, provide jobs, create foreign exchange and raise living standards than any other economic force. India is world famous for the city of Taj -Agra.
Agra is a city on the banks of the Yamuna River in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, about 210 kilometres south of the national capital New Delhi and 335 km west of the state capital Lucknow. There was an early reference to an “Agravana” in the ancient Sanskrit epic Mahabharata, and Ptolemy is said to have called the site “Agra.” The city was founded by Sultan Sikandar of the Lodi dynasty in the early 16th century to be the capital of the Delhi sultanate.
The city is known for its embodiment of beauty, art, culture, vibrancy, architecture and amazing food. The imprints of the Mughal dynasty are clearly reflected in its mammoth structures such as the Agra Fort, Taj Mahal (Agra is best known for the Taj Mahal (17th century), designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983. A complex mausoleum, the Taj Mahal is often considered to be the world’s best example of Mughal architecture), Itmad-ud-daulah, Sikandra etc. The city in all its sense transcends the Taj and has a lot to offer to not only the Agra or Indian tourism but also to the historicity and richness of what India withholds as a country since centuries.
And therefore, a tour of India is incomplete without experiencing the magic of Agra.
JAIPUR
Rajasthani Daal baati, Jaipur’s Hava Mahal, Ajmera Fshion’s saaree, Jodhpur’s saafa, Ajmer’s Dargha, Pushkar’s camel race, Udaipur’s lakes, Kota’s Saalasar Balaji’s magnificent prayer and Maharana Pratap’s indelible stories resonating on the pages of history is what Rajasthan is known for.
Formerly Jeypore, Jaipur is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is also known as the Pink City, due to the dominant colour scheme of its buildings, when it was painted in order to welcome Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert in 1876. Additionally, it is also called as the Paris of India, and Dr. C.V. Raman called it the Island of Glory. It is located 268 km (167 miles) from the national capital New Delhi. Jaipur was founded in 1727 by the Kacchawa Rajput ruler Jai Singh II the ruler of Amer, after whom the city is named.
Major tourist attractions in Jaipur include the City Palace, Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Albert Hall Museum, Jantar Mantar and Jal Mahal. Apart from this the city is also famous for it’s spicy Laal Maas and gatte ki sabji. Teej and Ghanghor are the ethnic festivities that add to the charm of the city.

DELHI
Delhi, India’s capital territory, is a massive metropolitan area in the country’s north. The city of Delhi actually consists of two components: Old Delhi, in the north, the historic city; and New Delhi, in the south, since 1947 the capital of India, built in the first part of the 20th century as the capital of British India. In Old Delhi, a neighbourhood dating to the 1600s, stands the imposing Mughal-era Red Fort, a symbol of India, and the sprawling Jama Masjid Mosque, whose courtyard accommodates 25,000 people. Nearby is Chandni Chowk, a vibrant bazaar filled with food carts, sweets shops and spice stalls.
Delhi is the house to official buildings, ministerial residences and clubs. Moreover, the JLN Planetarium, The National Museum, the Indira Gandhi house etc. are also worth visiting.
Additionally, the markets of Delhi, be it Janpath, Sarojini, Lajpat, Connaught Place or Dilli Haat are the best spots for shopping freaks. Even for all the intellectually stimulated out there, Oxford bookstore and JLN Library are the perfect places for academic vibes.
Therefore, it can be said that Delhi is a place where you will get a holistic experience of art, food, hustle culture and what not, so missing out on this one is like passing up the most important piece of the analogical golden triangle circuit’s jigsaw puzzle.
